Hard as a rock 2013

More than just a bike race! A festival and an opportunity to spend a weekend of downhill, skateboarding, rollerblading and streetball. Plus outdoor and indoor music.

This year the event reaches its 8th consecutive edition, which will take place on July 20-21, 2013, in Piatra-Neamt. In addition to the already well-known Downhill, Skateboard and Streetball events, starting with this edition the Rollerblading competition has been added to the festival. Major changes have been made regarding the location of the events (construction of a new skatepark and basketball court in the historic center of the city), and in terms of musical events (outdoor concert during the day and a big party in the Igloo on Cozla Mountain).

But because we are interested in cycling, we insist a little on the DH event of the event:
The event is organized by the Ileana Foundation and SC. Flama Booking SRL. The Ileana Foundation has arranged the only downhill route in Moldova, the one at Tare ca Piatra.

Cozla Mountain is a symbol of the city of Piatra-Neamt. It has a cable car, a downhill route, a ski slope, a tourist complex and attracts tourists regardless of the season. The downhill competition and the musical event in the “Igloo” tent will take place in this location.

10-12 - Route reconnaissance
12-15 - Qualifications
15-18 - Final heat

Sunday, JULY 21
14-15 - Award ceremony
15 - Open-air concert
